Thanks for the kind words. Getting the paint to match was areal pain. It's a custom single stage mix and took the paint guy about 30 tries to hit. I think my grandfather would be happy with it, I know I am. I just wish I could find a new muffler shield or get this one redone and I'd be over the top happy.

You got your tractor looking like new..��
Your muffler shield looks straight and in good shape..? Is it stainless steel. Maybe polishing it would make it look better..?

You have done a terrific job on that retro. I am sure your grandfather would be well pleased with the like new looks of the tractor.
I really would not get to concerned regarding the exhaust appearance. Few metals that ate exposed to that type of heat will withstand not tarnishing rather quickly. It looks like you have replaced the muffler/tailpipe, and the exposed tail pipe resembles the heat shield.
