Hello,
I have a YM1300D. The 3 point is a bit choppy on the way up. I was told to check the hydraulic filter. I have drained the fluid. Where is the filter? Also, short of the pump going bad, what else might be causing this?
thanks,
Rich

It is behind where the suction line bolts to the transmission housing.

ok, I got it out and it was completely filthy! I got it clean. Next question. What is the purpose of the rod that sticks out about one inch on the end of the filter? It's not centered. Does it need to go back in any particular way?

thanks,
Rich

That's good. Did you figure out what that rod is for? Also did you drain all your hydraulic fluid?

I'm going to clean mine I think, although the hydraulics on my tracor work fine. Just want to see how much junk is in there.

looks like the filter has that rod sticking out so that it can only go back in one way. Amazing what a clean filter can do.
