I'm not kidding you. Anything else your missing that we can tell you about?
Adding a FEL later is a fool's errand. Besides all the work to add one you still need to find one that will work and the cost will be high. It will be much cheaper to buy a tractor with one already on it. Another poster down the thread said that a FEL can get in the way and make it easier to roll your tractor. The poster is slightly correct. The FEL does add about 3 feet to the length of the tractor, but you can raise it which will reduce the tractor length. And yes, the FEL can make the tractor easier to roll over but only if you have a load in the loader and if it is held up high while moving. You need to learn how to operate any machine safely. At the end of the day though a tractor in the size range you are looking at will be twice as useful with a FEL. You can tell yourself that all the carrying capacity of the FEL is of little consequence, that you don't have a problem moving all that stuff yourself, but really the FEL is a huge labor saver. That's why they are so popular.Front end loader is something that I will think about later and it seems that powershift will be good for it.
A sub-frame is required even for a 3-point back-hoe.You have convinced me to get the tractor with front loader and I see they are common enough, so I will for sure look for that. One place already told me I have to wait like 5 months for the tractor...
I do have a question about back hoe. I was looking at what attachments I can buy. I always knew tractors can do a lot of things, but until now I never considered back hoe. Not sure if I can afford it, because it can be about the same price as the tractor or small dedicated machine. I read some and people recommend to get one with frame, because otherwise you might damage the tractor. However, all I can find is models for 3 point hitch. I assume that it will be a lot of work to make a frame for specific tractor model, and that there aren't any original japanese back hoes for these models. Is that true? Any advice? Should I just forget about it? I am also not sure how easily it is removed, because I will be using the tractor mainly for garden things.
Looking at something like this Backhoes for tractors – Choose from 11 models – AgriEuro promotions
Even the Yanmar representatives here have on their website those RES models for 3 point. Hm.
