Yanmar YM2210D & YM 155D
Good Morning everyone, it has been some time since I have posted on here. The last 2 years have been crazy. My family and I have moved, my wife and I both stated new jobs and my youngest son has been in traveling baseball. However I have come across a YM 155D in excellent condition. I believe it has 386 original hours....The lady selling this little guy is the daughter of the original owner. The tractor comes with a 4ft yanmar finish mower, everything looks excellent and run perfect. I don't have any pictures at the moment but will later today. I have talked this lady into selling it for $2400, what is everyone's thoughts on the price? I am would like to use a 3pt snow thrower on this, or possibly find a way to attach a front mount snow thrower on it. Any thoughts or ideas on how to do this?? I think its a pretty decent deal considering the condition of the tractor.

Sounds like a deal for the tractor and attachment. As for the snow thrower i cant help there, we don't use those things around here and i have never been around one. The mower i would say is worth an easy $400 and possibly more depending on condition, the tractor i would say would be worth the $2000.

Wow, moved and both have new jobs!!!

Yes moved and both new jobs.... It has been very stressful and busy. With my son playing traveling baseball that just took up more of my time too. But things are settling down a little now. Just getting ready for winter. I will post pics later today. Chevy791979 let me know what you think of it!

I like the loader on your 155D. How long have you had yours?

I love it. It'll fit through a 48 inch fence gate. These tractors are tough little bastards. Does yours have a loader?

Also for cold weather, I put a block heater in, I work at a Deere dealer and a 655 compact utility is the same engine. So I got mine at work.

The one I am picking up today does not have a loader unfortunately. It does come with a 48 inc yanmar finish mower though. I would like to have a loader for it, but unsure if I want to spend the money on that right now. I am wanting to put a front snow blade on it and or get a 3pt snow thrower for it.

how difficult was it to put that block heater in it? Do you happen to have a part number for the block heater?

I'd love to have a belly mower for mine.
One thing I will say about these things is, a ballast box does HUGE wonders for traction and such. I imagine wheel weights would do great also, I just don't have any yet. They'd be easier a in not having to pin a ballast box on and off a needed.

I've also got a 3pt wood chipper. It works great for brush and such. I have an outdoor wood boiler and heat my 4600 sq/ft home with it. This tractor helps out alot feeding my boiler. Lol.

Thanks for the pic on the heater. The belly mower would be the **** over my 3pt mower. As for the ballast box I can see where that would come in handy. Have you thought about ballasting your tires? I have done that on my other yanmar. I ended up using Rim Guard (Beet Juice) on mine and it works wonders, and is very reasonably priced too. The wood chipper sounds cool. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those. Is yours also a leaf shredder too?

You guys are talking about chippers, here's one I picked up recently. It's a Merry Mac pt12 or something like that.

That is a nice looking set up! Is that mated with your 147D? What did you give for that chipper/shredder?

Picked it up at swap meet for 500... Didn't steal it but it's in good shape. New they seem to go for 17-19 hundred..

And yes it's on a 147d. Handles it with no problems.

Nope. It a DR brand chipper

I've also thought about ballasting the tires but with them only being so big, I didn't figure it would make enough difference to justify doing it over actual wheel weights.
