Yep - you really learn how much side swing you can get by steering right and left to work around those standing trees /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Actually, I only do it with relatively short logs when the route to where I plan to stack them is relatively clear of obstructions. I use the chain drag method, otherwise. Haven't quite convinced myself to buy tongs yet.

I was telling someone at an auction I attended Saturday morning that it used to be I couldn't hardly attend an auction without seeing a set or two. Now that I'd like to own a pair, they've become scarce in my travels. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
