Yanmar YT235C. Good deal or pass?

Man, why can't I ever find deals like that? Amazing find on an outstanding tractor. Am I seeing things or does that have an optional rear remote? If so, that's an $800 add on. Now just go down to the dealer, get yourself a loader, third function kit, hydraulic top link, and brush guard and you'll be in high cotton. Nice find!

You should buy her a bouquet of flowers for when you pick up the tractor and tell her that you will take very good care of it.

Got her home. Spent a couple of hours washing and scrubbing every nook and cranny to eliminate the mildew and moss that had started from sitting in the shade and Florida humidity. I went over all of the rubber seals and hoses with my old standby. 303 Aerospace Protectant. Cleaned up beautifully.

After being up close and personal with the tractor I only noticed a couple of things. The hood has started to turn a shade of pink from the sun as reported by other owners. I also noticed a couple of small areas of very tiny fisheyes in the factory hood paint. You wouldn't notice them unless you were looking for them and the light was just right. So faint that I can't catch them with a camera lens but I can see and feel them. None the less those will be areas to watch for surface rust down the road.

I may end up replacing the front wheels with new ones. The dog urine and humidity combined did a number on them. Yes, they could be blasted and repainted but one of them is showing signs of steel flaking right where it meets the tire. I'll start by having both of them broken down for inspection. New front wheels is a small price to pay to make the tractor 100% again.
