Nice... How did you come about that.? Local, private , dealer?

A private seller had it in a town near me. It had the yqm belly mower under it, and he had been mowing about two acres with it. He didn't say where he got it. Not long after I bought it I was doing some research on the mower, and I saw what I think is the same tractor on Hoyes Yanmar Forum, at that time the belly mower was for sale this was posted in 2013, the owner said he had bought the tractor from the original owner who bought it in 1983, and became disabled the next year, it was stored since then and the buyer bought it in 2012 or 2013. It was in western NC. I believe the man I got it from may have bought it from the second owner at some point, we all live fairly close to western nc.

Wow! And even power steering. You did good!

The power steering makes mowing a breeze, it is the factory option offered in the sales flyer that Scotty posted on this forum.
Yanmar had some really good equipment for the US market in the early eighties.
