Yanmar YM267 - I need info

This is an odd request, and its a known machine in the UK market. I believe it is based off of another YM domestic import model. If you recall the YM220 with UK/EU added safety road hardware is the YM250/YM252 (depending on country).

Someone needs info for their YM267D. I'm turning up a little bit of info, even here on the forums when searching. Their engine ID plate was painted over during a refub process. It is a 3-cylinder engine is all we really know.

OK. there are dotted line clues out there. There is a YM257 with the 3T80U-HK engine.

I'm leaning towards this model being the base and the YM267 is a model upgraded from it.

From the photo you posted, that "YM267D" sure does look a lot like the USA model YM276D Yanmar.
I wonder if the person requesting info miscopied the model number.

For comparison, here's a photo of a USA model 276D Yanmar. Even the loader looks the same - and the loaders for the USA model Yanmars were built in Canada. The 276D had a fingertip operated shuttle shift/power shift.

Both in Japan and in Europe, there are listings for a YM267. Yet, nobody says what engine model is in the tractor other than it's a 3-cylinder. The YM257 & YM267 were made from 1984 up until 1991. I have much more documentation on the YM257.

This is the present listing for the YM 3-digit domestic machines in Europe we are aware of, some models are the same, others are not. USA got the YM187 and EU got the YM188 for an example.

His YM267 has the YFL1500 loader found on the YM336. Does the YM276 use the same loader then?

The YM276(D) used the YFL 1000 loader, not the YFL 1500 found on the YM336.
But I've seen both, and they are very similar design. It's been a lot of years, but my impression is it would be easy to mistake one for the other.
Both were what I'd call premium loaders with lots of features. That QD loader design was unique to the last - and best - of the YM 3-digit models sold by Yanmar in the USA.

I keep finding hints all over for the YM267. And with your info, it could as well be a YM276, just rebranded for the UK market.

Even the Japan gray market exporters list the model.

A Poland importer listed one as well. And 1991 would be a matching year for it's production release as the YM157 and YM158 were put into production at the same time.

Engine wise, the YM267 would be either a 3TN82-RHK or the 3TN84-RDC aligning with the production dates and releases. I'm leaning toward the 3TN84-RDC as it's at 26Hp like the YM276 3T84HA rated for 27Hp.

The Deere version of the engine is the 3TN84-RJK in the JD870 of the same era too.
