Yes....most of the early traffic here came from there. More people said "Yamaha" than "Yanmar". The name had virtually no recognition in this region until sometime after 2000 or so.Wayne:

What has been your experience dealing with LCI? A few posters got parts they needed; others said LCI advertises a long list of parts but in reality doesn't have much when you email them. Anybody know?

That is an amazing business. He apparently went to the original US provider of ROPS for the US Yanmars and contracted them to design, test, and build the ROPS he sells (and provides to other dealers).... Fredricks ... has had parts re- cast that you wouldn't think you would still be able to get for these tractors
Funny thing about ROPS is I can't drive on flat ground now without the ROPS up and to think I was debating not to purchase them a year ago.

I don't have time to look it up but the mfr is named in the ROPS manual (pdf) you can download off his website. Going to that manufacturer's website, they design and build ROPS for a large variety of US-brand equipment.Not sure who he contracts for the ROPS. I never asked him. I know that Tom was an engineer I believe NASA or...
