While grading my driveway my YM1700 quit. Just before it quit it started sputering small amounts of gray smoke. I just knew it was a cracked head but i checked the fuel system anyway. There was a couple proublems, one was someone put ruber fuel lines on and they where swelled almost shut,2 the fuel filter was real dirty. I put on new fuel lines drained the tank and changed the fuel filter and put some injecter cleaner. Now it runs like a new one... I also instaled a set of gages today took about twenty min and about $20.00 the oil pres.is running at 45 lbs. and the water temp is at 210deg. after 2hours of grading. Do those numbers look ok?
Thanks Chuck

yep... your numbers sound great!
my 1500 runs similar numbers ~40psi and ~210deg when working it on a midsummer day.
also, good move with the gauges.
you won't regret that.
