This afternoon i had to unload my trailer and had some quite heavy terracotta pots from our house we just sold so out came the 1500. took some time to do this and it came dark very quickly and i have no power yet at our acreage so on came the headlights which i have never had to use before. i must say for 30 something year old lights and some tiny globes they do an exceptional job. low beam spreads the light around just nicely, pity the loader blocks it off at the work height i was at but it was light. high beam is also very good and carries some distance, the reflectors look to be the originals so they have done very well. all i need now is a rear work light as i couldnt see behind me but thats next on the list. it has the hole for it so i might buy and LED one for it.

The headlights on my Yanmar arent the best. I plowed some snow with it and I couldnt see much out front and my rear work light wasnt hooked up. I hooked the the rear work light and that thing works AWSOME for rear visibility. I just need some better head lights if i ever plan on using the Yanmar in the dark again.

I used one of the cheap utility lights from Wally world and it works really well. When I wired mine up I wired it in on top of a weatherproof work box.

The switch on the top turns the work light on and off. The switches on the front of the box are for the 12 volt power outlet on the rear of the box and the other turns on the turn signals as flashers. I use the 12 volt outlet for my tow behind sprayer and the switch allows me to operate it from the seat.
