Since 2020 I've been driving with the yellow polarized glasses. The darker the polarized yellow, the better they work! Additionally, you want a black frame around each lens too. This prevents LED edge glare in your eyes. Hey, I tried 5 different pairs to figure out the best types that do work.

The worse are dumb truck owners who tow. The rear gets lowered and the front then pitches high to blind everyone.

It's still annoying with the LEDs out there with the yellow glasses, but if you dare take them off, it's far worse.

One advantage of driving with the yellow glasses, night vision improves to see critters and deer better. It is better in the rain and overcasted skies as well.

These will give you EDGE glare as they are exposed edges on each lens. Plus, they are too bright in yellow color. You want them a little like caramel. Bad, do not buy.

For cost, the el-cheap-o Walmarts do the job really well. I would have thought a mid-price pair would win out.

or these, in black frame for best results.

The Warblade is incredible too, but the price is very high. Not only polarized, it is UV400 rated.
It has the side barrel to prevent the passing LED vehicles from hitting your peripheral vision.

The semi truck I drive has some seriously bright low beam lights. I almost never run the high beams because they are so bright. Someone mentioned that down-grading the lights would be a nice thing to do, but due to cost of the low beams, no thanks! I had a low beam go out, and the light to fix it with an OEM light was somewhere around $1700. An aftermarket was listed at $1100, but nobody had one, so an OEM was installed. Turned out the reason it went out, was the body shop who replaced the whole hood when the truck was run into in a truck stop, put the light in upside down, which burnt the light out prematurely.

My complaint about the new led headlights is they are HIGHLY DIRECTIONAL.
In contrast, many/most of the aftermarket fog/driving lights aren't directional at all. You've practically got to point them at the ground to avoid blinding oncoming drivers. Of course, if they're aimed down like that, they're not doing you any good either.

Most of those also are sold for "off road use" only as they don't meet DOT specs.
Keeping in context with the thread, I have my snowsled on now as I am taking it to my mother's house after work to put it in storage. I will be sure to get off the road by dark. (y)

Keeping it in line with tractors, I also have the new radiator for my TO35 in the back seat. :)

We use to have to keep non dot off-road covered when on the Highway… have not seen this enforced in decades.

I made fun of my dad for wearing these years ago. Looks like the joke is on me. Now I need them.

I live in a rural area and regularly pass a few Teslas, no idea what model but they seem to be the worst offenders, every little bump is a blinding flash.
I know that some aftermarket headlights have this problem but I didn't realize it plagued Teslas too. What's the worst is an old clapped out honda with no suspension and 1.5 Billion lumen HID headlights pointed generally upward at your rear view mirrror and held in with zip ties that vibrate at seizure inducing frequencies. So cool, I bet it sounds like a fart. Pull over and let him pass, oh wow how surprising, sounds like a fart.

WOW. Guess I'm sticking to my 9007 halogens at $11 a pop for a while now.

I was at a salvage vehicle yard. A young guy there was looking for a Jeep to buy the headlamp assemblies to put in his newer Jeep model. He was downgrading to use the halogen lower cost bulbs vs replacing the broken LED units.

I recall the Dollar tree once sold 6 incandescent 60W bulbs for a buck. Today 1 LED for $1.25. And the package says, lasts 14 years. Yeah right, be lucky to get 1 year out of them.
