I recently removed the transmission to replace gaskets. I have it completely back together now. But I have no tension on the clutch pedal. It doesn't automatically come back when I release it and it feels like it isn't really doing anything when I push in. I'm beyond frustrated at this point. Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

I've never been inside a Yanmar and you've probably noted the obvious stuff, like how the clutch felt before you dismantled it. On a car there's no reason to remove the pressure plate from the flywheel when removing the transmission. I don't know if this is the case with a tractor. Are you sure your clutch adjustment is correct? Is the linkage installed correctly? How about the fork that moves the throwout bearing? You've probably already gone over all this stuff but it never hurts to rethink the process. Something might come to you.

Is the clutch engaged or disengaged?
