Not sure what rough is, as these little diesels sound a little different than bigger ones do. If you are wondering you could have someone that knows more about small Yanmars to look with you, of course he might buy it on the spot if it does sound good. They call them yammer hammers, if that gives you any idea. And oh yes if you buy it, you don't put just any mix of water and antifreeze in it. You put 70% water and 30% antifreeze, then it won't run hot, other wise it most likely will.

fish_wisperer, I like what I see in that picture. I think many of us would be interested if you turn it down. (including me if I weren't so far away). Fair price, and indestructible equipment. Check it out for major problems (unlikely) then jump on it!

Edit: It sounds rough? There are two audio files at the bottom of my sig page. Sounding as ragged as my recordings is normal. If it starts easily enough, that's more significant than the sound.

those sound files were very helpfull, thats excactly what this one sounds like, kinda like one of those long oreintal canoes. "thanks" i saved them in my music folder.
