I have a 1510 that cranks right up and PTO works fine, but will not move. It acts like it is going into gear and barely moves about 6 in. All rear tires roll freely, and brakes works fine as well. Also, need help locating hydraulic drain plug. Thanks

3 point works great and it seems to be going into gear fine.

Is the PTO working when it is under a load or could it just be free spinning? Did you buy the tractor that way or did it just start doing that? Does it do the same thing if the diff-lock pedal is pressed? What about in 4wd (if it is 4wd)?

It worked fine when I bought it, then I was bush hogging and backed into an area to cut and when I went to go forward it wouldn't no longer move. I pushed the diff-lock down yesterday and it did the same.

It does the same thing in all ranges?

I had a customer last month with similar problems. It ended up being either the springs below were broken or that plunger was stuck.

Aaron - I'm no mechanic, but I will take a look. Thanks

The springs broke on my powershift 276D. The piece that contains the springs is easily removed from the top of the transmission.
The springs are obsolete, but repops are available. I can't remember where. Order another gasket while you're at it.
