yahoo mail ?

if I send a yahoo e-mail to the county gripping (without being nasty or rude) about lack of code inforcement will they know who I am. I don't want the people I am gripping about knowing who it is as they work for the county and I feel they would cause problems

yes/no. They can see (if they look) your IP address and some other data.

Go to an Internet cafe', a library or any place where they have Internet access, logon to yahoo and send the email.

Send it in a plain white envelope that has been addressed by a borrowed typewriter. Make sure that the envelope comes from a closed package of envelopes that you purchased at Walmart. Wear rubber gloves when handling the envelope and don't seal the flap with anything other than water. Use a generic peal and stick 37 cent stamp. Type the message on paper also purchased at Walmart using a geriatric typewriter from a second hand store. The dispose of the typewriter in a dumpster in some far off community, but burn it before dumping. Always handle everything with rubber gloves. Sign the complaint with the persons name that you are complaining about or their next door neighbor that you also don't like. Continue your normal routine so they don't get suspicious. If all this doesn't work, go to the http://www.paladin-press.com/ website and find a book that will give you better instructions. Don't waste your time. It's hard enough to get a public official to do anything when they know who you are. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif If it comes with no name it will more than likely end up in the waste basket. They may do some checking on it but I wouldn't think much.

Just my opinion.

Sadly I never check TBN at work anymore. Mike already did me in /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif no fault of his mind you. But I see now that he has removed his mug shot. So, maybe I'm safe at work again.....?? I'm not chancing it, I don't want y'all reading my name in the local news rag. But thanks for the heads up anyway.

I agree.

Depending on the area, code enforcement can be a BIG joke.

You would think that common sense would prevail, but it dosen't.

Now, if you had work done not to your satisfaction, and it doesn't meet code, you do have a "leg to stand on".

I've met code inspectors in my business and ask them a question and more times than not they just shrug thier shoulders /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The only thing that will occure ifyou complain is the chance that someone figures out who you are and then the #$% hits the fan (either very fast or very slow).
