My grass is wet more often than dry (standing water sometimes) and often long and I never have a deck clogging problem with my 54inch fabricated deck on a 3235. The triple bagger is another story. If the grass is damp or long forget using the bagger. The chute and deck will clog solid with almost nothing going into the bags. Sometimes if the grass is really long I mow the whole thing without the bagger. I then install the bagger , raise the deck a couple inches and go back and pickup the clumps of grass.

I hear ya on the bagger-I had one for the 3204-I used to carry a long heavy stick to beat the tube to keep the grass going into bagger..... there is a 54" Fab deck for sale near me,just wondering if the 54" decks are better,the 3204 deck was a 54",but not fabricated,still was a clogging deck.

I only remove my 54 inch fabricated deck once a year and clean. It weighs 260 lbs so I'm glad it doesn't clog.
