XR41 Series 3Pt Control Lever Friction Adjustment

The 3 pt control handle on my XR4150 is very loose and will not (due to engine vibrations) stay in place when the implement is lifted completely up. If I don't hold it up, it will creep down and lower the implement. Any idea how/where to adjust the friction on the handle/lever to keep this from happening?

Follow the handle down to the transmission. You should see the friction discs, a big spring and two studs with a nut and a jam nut behind.

You can adjust as needed there.

I was just looking at the service manual for this question, but ptsg beat me to it. The friction plates are in that pack, on the outside rear of the tractor where the cables hook up. You might have an external control lever there too.
