XR 3037HC sat for a year, now weird stuff is going on....

I've replace all the filters and fluids, drained the old fuel and added fresh, new battery. When it starts it won't go over 2,000RPM, and the red exclamation point is flashing along with the regen light. I've tried several times to get it to do a manual regen but it still shuts off.

Any suggestions?

Did you change the fuel filter(s) with the others? Drained the water sensor? (again after changing the filter, in case you sucked in water to the lines) Any codes displayed with the idiot lights? If none of that lets you run, start checking the wires for mouse sign.

Assume you changed the air filter too?

No codes.

Changed all the filters and fluids, and yes, checked for water after replacing the fuel and running it the first time, used a test vial from an oil sample kit I use on the rig and let it settle with no water visible. It runs 22 seconds and shuts off clean, as if you turned the key.

I'll look at wires in the morning.

While I would expect an error code to be set, check your EGR and the pressure tubes and sensor for the DPF if it has that. Some the better ODB readers can connect and reset codes at least on my Tier 4 LS build engine.
