x740 mower deck

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and need a little info. I'm own 3 455 diesel lawn tractors and a X740. I am looking at another X740 but it doesn't have a deck. I have a brand new 60 inch deck for a 455 in storage. Will this deck fit the X740? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum first of all.

Since you have the new deck on hand and an existing x740 you should be able to compare and tell us if it fits. Might only need a slight modification but you should be able to see this with a side by side comparison. If it looks like it will fit then try it on your x740.

Thanks jenkinsph but it's not that easy.I'm out of town and the x740 is on a auction that will end before I get home. Don't really want to purchase if the deck want fit. Maybe soome one out there will know. Guess I will call my dealer tomorrow.

Are any of those 455's AWS? Are you near Colorado? If so, I'd be interested in possibly buying one if you're interested in selling one.
