Bought a mulch kit for the deck from John deere,came with a mulch plug and two blades that bolth say RIGHT on each blade.
The owners manual says to make sure you put the mulch blades on LEFT and RIGHT sides correctly .
The instructions on the kit say nothing about LEFT or RIGHT hand blades.

Any one know if there should be two different blades ?

Both blades turn in same direction I believe to help push grass out the chute.

no such thing as a left and right blade unless you're cutting hay. just make sure you put them on with the correct side facing up/down. happy mulching.

Actually, there are some two-blade decks that use different size blades. I remember Simplicity makes one, maybe for the Regent. Seems to me that Deere has (or had) a deck model that used two different size blades as well.

I would let my finger do the walking. Right to my local Deere dealer for a conclusive answer.

Had the blades off mine 2 weeks ago to sharpen them. They are both identical. Make sure they're right-side-up & you're good to go.
