Hi All...

I'm thinking of selling a few of these in my front yard. Do you like it and would you purchase one.?? $50 to $65...some where around that price.

Thanks for your input...

I am betting in most houses that is the wife's decision, or at least it is at mine. She would ask if i liked it, and I would say, sure, as long as I can mow around it!!
:)

Very cool. Put them out there and see what happens. Just don't put them somewhere my wife will see them.:)

Looks great and the price is very reasonable.

Being in Maine, a long way from here, go ahead, I know my wife would love one! If she sees this, I'll be building one.

I can see my wife coming home with one at your suggested price and be damned prowd of it. And yep, I would be the one out digging a hole to put it in the very next day......hmm, probably overkill using the hoe but what-ta-heck? :)

I would agree with others... if my parent's weren't retired I would suggest they talk to you about a value added product.

Nice verbena and hosta. We still have snow up here, I didn't realise how far ahead of us the southern part of the state is. :D

Looks good to me. If I might make a suggestion... perhaps make one with the birdhouse and a simiilar model with a mailbox. Everyone might not be inclined to house birds, but ALL rural residents need to get their mail. Might inspire some of those drap plastic mailbox owners to upgrade. :)

I don't think you'd have a problem at that price. Is that steel or wood? (the base)

Several colors like Yellow, Blue ect tra, may get a few that are color conscious.

I worry about the cost of the lumber, paint, and the time. Not sure what the margin would be. Hard to make money with this type of project, but it looks great.

Nice but no thanks, I have enough to mow around. I just hope my wife doesn't see it or she would buy 2 of them.

Gotta agree with this. What does this much wood cost? how much time does it take to make and then to paint? At $50 each, I don't see how it's worth your time. Add to that the time it takes to sell each one, talk to the buyer, market them, display them and maintain them, it starts to look like a money pit.

I agree with Eddie.

Looks nice. If they sell expect China to sell them for half price at Walmart.
