I recently cut the underground line to my pole barn with my FEL and was happy that there wasn't another service line in the same trench. I would never put two types of service in one trench just for the ease of servicing them with out having to deal with a second one. Breaks in underground utilities generally at the most inconvenient time and having to deal with one is usually enough for anyone.
