Workshop Websites/Discussion Groups

When I was waiting in the grocery store for my daughter to get off work, I picked up & bought a magazine called Shopnotes (www.shopnotes.com). I've been looking for magazines & discussion groups relating to the workshop. I "play" with both metal & wood (no where close to a pro) and if any of you folks know of interesting discussion groups/magazines/websites re the metal/wood workshop, I'd like to know of them. Besides this "super" site, where else do you pick up tips/ideas/info ?? Thanks in Advance....
