Just traded for a new WM 65 and love it except for turning radius. Has anyone taken the bolts out of stop adjustment to get it to turn sharper?

Salesman mentioned it but it was one of those things that only owner could do. Like disabling safety switches

I took the stops off, lifted front wheels, turned wheel both ways and checked clearance by pivoting axle. There appears to be plenty of cylinder travel to short each sides stop by at least a half each and reduce turn radius a lot.

Only think that gives me pause is the gearing and linkage for the front wheel assist. Worried it may wear or bind

There must be a reason the company set stops as they did.

Any thoughts?

Hey I came across your thread. How did you remove the steering stops, and have you had any issues after removing them?

Mine had bolts with a spacer. Took bolts out and reduced spacer. I reduced about half the amount I could have with no issues so far
