Few more thoughts, subframe is a definite plus. I've operated just like I would a real backhoe and pulled myself around without getting on the tractor to move myself. Been hard on it a time or two. Pretty darned sturdy. LUTT

The subframe is essential on any backhoe, but was usually optional if offered at all on CUT's. I remember having to fabricate a subframe for some other units. It isolates the loader/backhoe stresses away from the tractor chassis.
