How difficult is it to install all the mounting hardware on a dk40 for a woods bh90x. Does it usually come with good instructions?

I did it about 2 years ago. It was not too difficult once I got mounting brackets that were made correctly. The first one's I received were not manufactured correctly, it took lots of emails and pictures to prove they were made wrong. I did have a 4 post auto lift I put the tractor on while I was doing the work and that made it much easier. There are some large brackets that attach to the rear axle and to the loader mount, they didn't line up quite right and I had to use a jack to "lift" the end of the bracket that attached to the loader about 1/2" to get the bolts to line up. The instructions were okay, but they could have been better. There were a few sections that left me scratching my head on just how things were to be assembled... but once I had it assembled... the instructions made sense. Some of the bolts around the rear axle were very difficult to get at to get tightened to the proper torque. It would have been easy if I removed the rear wheels, but since my tires are loaded... there was no removing them. I did the entire job myself, but a few things would have been much easier if I had had a helper. I did have a cylinder that leaked from the start, I had no issues getting a new cylinder from Woods. It was just a pain to get the air out of the system after I changed the cylinder, actually I am still fighting getting the last little bit of air out.

Sounds tougher than I expected, thanks for the reply.
Are you happy with the quality and power of the Woods BH-90x? How well does the dk40 handle it?

I went with the Kioti BH just because taking the woods on and off appeared to be much more of a chore. I have no regrets.

isn't the woods bh much stronger? More power and reach?

I had the Kioti BH on my CK30, now I have a Woods BH on my DK40. I find the Woods BH easier to put on and take off than the Kioti BH, with one caveat. With the Woods BH you should remove the 3pt arms. Which is easy and takes me less than 5 min, with the Kioti BH there is no need. I don't bother to remove the 3pt arms if I put the BH on for a quick job, but if I have a job that is going to take more than a few days, I will remove them. I went with the Woods BH on the DK over the Kioti BH due to the added power and reach of the Woods BH. But in everyday use, I don't notice much difference in power, although that might be different if I ever get all the air out of the system after replacing the cylinder. The DK handles the Woods 90x BH with no issues, but I wouldn't want anything more powerful as you can toss the tractor around a little if you get 'enthusiastic'. Also, I had a manual thumb on the BH on the CK, I put a hydraulic thumb on the DK BH and I am glad I did.

Once I got the right parts from Woods... it was not hard, I would do it again. I am happy with the quality of the Woods, the power is still a question as I still seem to have some air in the system after changing the leaky cylinder. I think I am going to have to remove the cylinder again, with out disconnecting the lines, to be able to get the rest of the air out of the system.

I have Ag tires, not industrial. Would that have any effect on the bh?

I don't see how it would have any effect. Except... if the wheels are not turned so they are set at max width, then it might be more difficult to get the mounts in place and to tighten the bolts properly.
