Wood Max Flail

Looking to get a flail for my Kubota B2601 as i sold my Landpride FDR 1660 finish mower. First it was a bit to much for my tractor I thought as it would really dog it down in the ruff grass here in Colorado. It was not very tall I thought 8 to 10 inches. So I have sent a few emails to them and talked to them once also but I have sent a few more emails and no reply back which kind of scares me off this brand. I'm thinking the 62" one going to be to much for my tractor again so the 54 seems like a good fit. I have the land pride quick hitch also QH05 model. I want to know if this will fit onto the mower. The hitch is 14.5 inches from the top hook the lower pins. If any one has a flail here is the springs I would love to check it out be fore I order one. I was also looking at the TX 52 from tractor tools direct but it is 700 more in cost. Please let me know. Thanks

I have a Woodmaxx that just arrived a month ago. I only have 5-6 hours using it so far. So far, it's everything I expected, and I had a Caroni flail before this.

Best bet is to call them during eastern business hours (9am-430pm) and talk to Jim if you can. He's a sales rep but very responsive and helpful. Once you establish communication I think you'll find emails get replies. Yeah, they should be better at answering initial emails to the general inbox, but with smaller companies (and some large ones) you have to navigate how they do things.

My FM-78 works with a Cat 1 quick hitch, which was a major factor in why I bought this vs. another Caroni. However, now having owned both, it appears that the Woodmaxx is a little heavier duty construction than the Caroni TM1900.
