I don’t know how long LEDs last in actual use. I can just say that I’ve never had one burn out.

Maybe our builder just used cheap LED's. 6 in 3 years are out.
And the cheap arc fault GFCI breakers. Changed 3 so far due to refrigerator popping them. Still used arc fault GFCI, but Homeline vs. Siemens

I am in the trucking industry where LED's have been in play for years. Subjected to vibrations shock and salt roads, they don't last nearly as long as advertised!

I had my kitchen remodeled 10 years ago or so, and the arc fault breakers they used to comply with current code were a royal pain. I ended up replacing them with non arc fault breakers.

is the inside of the flu pipe connection flush and do you have access to it? If so, putting a piece of sheet magnet across the opening might do the trick.

Yes, it's flush but that would require removing the flue pipe, which I'm trying to avoid.
Now, after the pipe has been removed, I just stick a plastic bucket in the chimney thimble.
