If it’s running away, cut off the air or fuel..
The problem could be in the injection pump.. it’ll need to come up and out..

I’m thinking it’s a PFR injection pump..
It bolts down on its 4 corners in its own housing..??
You should do some research before trying to get it out..

I've looked and looked, and then went to the official Mitsubishi records. There is no MT272 machine listed.
I was once a moderator of the Yahoo Mitsubishi-Satoh group and never came across a MT272.
There is a S372 and MT372.
This is from the official Mitsubishi documented model releases. I snipped the area where a MT272 should be listed.
Even under the other M model designations, no 272.
