Wireless ip pt cameras for security

I just bought one of the Foscam F18918W off buy.com. Paid about $80 but I can't get the darn thing to work. Keep getting errors between the camera and Windows!

Ok.. I got time to work with mine today..
you are correct.. If you are using IE 8 or 9 and the FOSCAM website on the camera it fails..
Solution:
Use Firefox..
It worked fine!

Mine is and running.. put some configuration in the Internet router and got a dynamic IP address DNS working with no-ip.org..(well kinda dynamic)
and now I can view the camera with full control from my iPhone at home, work, iPad etc..

Emails motion alerts, and it can FTP video to a security server offsite.. (these are a little tricky....)
lastly...
I think I am going to buy a couple more..
If I can find a good weather enclosure I will put some randomly around the property... With the Wifi I have at home, I can pretty much cover about 100 feet in every direction from the house...(I am a network engineer by profession-- and commonly have to cover 100,000 sq ft warehouses...)

A few more details here, please? I'm unfamiliar with how I would mod any configuration on my router (NetGear). I would also like to FTP video (or motion-activated stills) to a remote destination.

Net gear... I have a link for you at home.. Let me find and post that. The FTP was real simple... Just need the ip address of the FTP server with login and a few check boxes... Let me get more when I get to a pc and off my iPhone...
