Wire loom for LED lights - recommendations?

For projects like adding some lights, I use SJ / SJO cord (similar to extension cords) with good heat shrink connectors and save the split loom for making harnesses more involved / more circuits / branches to it.

I've got some extension cords I bought from Sears about 20 or 30 years ago. Two blue 25' and one yellow 100'. The casing/insulation seems like it is silicone or something, and the cords are very flexible with almost no memory, and they stay flexible in very low temps. That type of cord would be perfect for what you are talking about.

Well just a followup.

I ended up "finding" the length of split loom, plus about 5', for what I needed for my M4700. It was in a pile from the previous owner I had not yet cleaned out.
So I ended up using that for my M4700. However, maybe because it was old, the plastic did not make it easy to feed the wires into the split loom until I threw a box wrench into it. Fed the wires through the box wrench, pull the box wrench forward opening up the split, just like laying cable with a tractor.

Thanks. I was trying to devise a piece of pipe w/ a washer or something on the end when I grabbed the box wrench.
