I’m looking for ideas for a winter front for my rx . Only using it a bit in the winter . Mostly feeding bales . It seems to be running a bit cool

Does your RX have dust screens for the Radiator ? You might be able to take them out and make something with a few small holes to block off the air flow to the radiator .

There was a time a piece of cardboard with a hole cut in the center was very common.

And that time is now.

And you can just put it against the dust screen without removing the screen

A little experimentation goes a long way.

鼎anvasses used to be pretty common. They wrap front and bottom to restrict cold air flow.

Try the cardboard first. It is usually not quite perfect, but will usually get the temps up. Running at the correct rpm makes a difference too. Different machines prefer different working rpms to hold/make heat.

Using cardboard/canvasses/winter-fronts is just a matter-of-course with diesels in cold areas of Canada.

What about the two little radiators in front of the engine radiator ? What are they and would it be ok to have a cardboard dividing them

They should be for oil? Covered with a little hole in front of each one. Hole sizes can be adjusted.
