Window Washer Fluid not working

I have a 2011 (80 hrs) 4720cab and my front window washer fluid is not coming out (the wiper works fine). Any suggestion on what i can check? the rear fluild and wiper is working.
1) the holding tank is almost filled
2) the hoses are connected
3) blown fuse? I have not "pulled" any of the fuses to examine them - when I press the button, there is no noise like a pump trying to pump fluid - should there be? does it have an electric pump?
4) i don't think it is clogged.

I had a similar issue on my 3720. I pulled the knob off and pushed on the metal rod on my own, it then worked. So it was really just the way the knob was put on. Once it pushed it on correctly, it was working fine. Hopefully yours is just as simple.
