This my bender

the ram is 10 ton 14" stroke. it uses this pump
its 1 1/2hp........0.57 gpm@ 4000psi

could i use it to operate this ram?

Couldn't find any specs on it but it is also 10 ton probably only a 2" stroke. I read somewhere that it is rated at 15 tons @ 10000 psi but couldn't confirm if the info was correct. it is used in my shop to punch holes and press dimples into sheet metal. I know i would have to get the same quick connector. I have seen people run them with air/hydraulic. Would this be dangerously fast? Is this enough info for an answer. Thanks in advance i don't like being the guy that just pops onto a forum for a question but i couldn't find an answer anywhere and this is way over my head.

I think it would move very quick unless you somehow reduced the flow.

Maybe use a needle valve to adjust the speed.

Whatever it is I want one. Definitely didn't come from Harbor Freight.

Can i do that without hurting my pump? I cant afford to damage my bender pump.

You can get one from HF. but the punches are not as good. I think the hand pump and ram are the same (same factory in china just painted a different color like many things now days) the set from HF is $99 minus 20% if you have a coupon. greenlee is about a thousand. I got the Ram from HF and bought good punches from greenlee and dimple dies to match from Barbed wire offroad.

Your ram looks to be single-acting. Your pump, with a Cetop D03 mounted on top, looks to be double-acting.

Sure you can use it, but you'll have to find a way to retract the cylinder.

HydraulicStore has some double-acting high pressure rams. I ordered my high-force maintenance kit from them.

The ram has a spring that brings it back not sure if that is double. my bender just holds and if i press down it retracts i think with the a spring on the inside because it retracts slow.

Yep, that elec/hyd pump will work on the Greenlee ram.....they are both single acting

The yellow ram is an Enerpac RC-1014 (or equivalent clone)...http://www.buffalohydraulic.com/enerpac/html/enerpac_rc_series_cylinders.html.. develops 10 tons when pressurized at 10,000psi(max rating)........your pump on your bender is rated at 4000psi which will only give you 4 tons at that pressure...

the Greenlee 767a Hand pump (http://www.mygreenlee.com/GreenleeDotCom/im/IM1317REV07.pdf) is rated at 6500psi .......so the greenlee ram can handle the 4000psi easily from your power unit on the bender......

Thanks for the info. would this mean that my pump will be under powered? I found the coupler fitting. I will order them monday when i get them i can post up a video of it in action.

Yes, it will be underpowered but it won't blow up in your face....

Even the bender obviously doesn't need the full 10 tons of power, with 4000 psi it'll only push 4 tons....
