When I disconnect the 2 hydraulic lines from the bucket cylinder to the control valve on my dozer, will the fluid drain from the tank or just what is in the lines? Or should I just drain out all the fluid then remove the lines? Thanks, Frank

When your valves are in neutral, the flow is blocked. What ever is in the hose/cyl might leak out.

If your valve is working correctly then all you should get out of the hose is jut the fluid in them. The fluid should remain in your tank.

So no need to drain the tank to take the hoses from the valve to the cylinder off.

make sure that the bucket and loader are well supported since gravity will force any fluid it can out of the lines as soon as you disconnect them. A full cylinder can hold a lot of oil that will shoot pretty hard with the weight of a bucket curling to push on it.
