another. water to left is about 3 feet deep now and would probably ruin your day if you rolled into it...

Looks like your B3030 will dig as good as my L3130 with R1 ag tires. About how long did it take you to move that amount of dirt?
I have been thinking about trading my L3130 for a B2630 or B3030 with R4 tires. I would like something a little lighter so I can put it on lawns with an aerator and spreader.

Nice work. It must be quite a spring if it feeds that creek. Looks like a lot of water, especially if it is 3 feet deep. It looks like you have the 60" bucket. Is that true or is it the 54".

tool, 54" bucket. i wanted the smaller one thinking it would dig better. spring has only been dry once since i bought property. i attempted to dig it out a little during that period. after about an hours digging, it started filling up with water again. normally cold and clear. my kids sometimes swim in it during summer when full but it's almost too cold even in july........ /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Strokerduster, is the weight bucket held up using the 3 pt. hitch? Why I ask is that when I put my weight bucket on my Kubota B1550 I have chains attached to the lower links then they run up to the top link. I then lower the weight bucket down and let the chains take up the slack and hold ALL OF THE WEIGHT. I feel that this takes the pressure off of the hydraulic system. Does this make sense to you?

it was designed to carry much more than 600lbs on the 3 pt hitch so i don't worry about it. it's hydraulic pressure holding it and i let it all the way down when not in use. thats what the factory made the ballast box to do. i don't see a problem either way.................. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

SRS, the hydraulic system is not constantly applying pressure to the 3pt arms when the handle in the neutral position. Pressure is only applied when you put the handle in the raise position.
Chaining it up only keeps the 3pt arms from bleeding down if you don't have position control.
