Why do you hate MTD?

Although I'm not a fan of MTD, I do own one piece of MTD equipment. A pressure washer made by Troy Bilt.

I bought it knowing it was MTD but honestly can't tell. Written on the base of the machine is: "Troy Bilt is a registered trademark of MTD and is under license to Briggs & Stratton"

But it has a Honda engine?!?!? (which is why I bought this unit)

Why did MTD license it to B&S who then put a Honda engine in as opposed to their own?

If you are saying that a MTD product would be better if it was built by Briggs rather than themselves You are right.

The best built MTD products Are not built by MTD. I love it

Briggs did for building the machine and marketing it.

MTD didn't make any money. they got paid to let Briggs market under Troy Built name.

So!!!!!!!!!!! all of this is only about corp. profits and not making quality equipment.

My point about MTD all along.

I would go with the 95% chance to win all day rather than a 95% chance to loose.
