Gents,
Let's get real for a moment....
how come too many thread ends up as 'mine is better than yours' or ' you are full of ? How many of you have actually stepped back a few days later and re-read some of these silly threads?
I joined this group so that I could learn something new. I have more interests than I can possible ever pursue. One of my many interests is tractors so I bought a little bitty 'Bota BX 2200 to play with. I'm not a genius in agriculture/tractors, and am the first to admit it. I have MANY interests.....and I ain't smart in any single category. I just love to learn form those who have wisdom....not those who love to blow smoke.
Unfortunately, seems like everytime I log into this forum to learn a little more about this 'hobby', more often than not all I get is a bunch of overblown testosterone comments from folks who are attempting to prove how smart they are (clue: 99% of the time this reveals your real ignorance). Why don't we all learn from the ultimate gentleman BIRD who never gives his opinion with first stating " this is only my opinion". There are several more folks on this form who are humble like BIRD. Unfortunately, there are a select few folks who all-too-frequently participate in this forum who feel that they must prove their manhood by anonymously blasting other folks opinions.
Geeeez, most of you are well into mature adulthood by the calendar, but your blasts are less mature than those of my 9 yr old son!
Why can't this forum get back to sharing info and opinions in a gentlemanly manner? This is a new year... why not make a resolution to be polite and humble on this site? I WANT to learn more from the many wise folks out there....but I am having a difficult time coming back again and again to the same folks who insist on arguing about things they really knoiw nothing about.
Question: Would you really talk like this face-to-face? Think about it. This is a great forum for all of us to learn. Let's start acting our age.
