I was working on something today, and when I reached for a pair of C Locks, I got to thinking about this thread. AND that made me go to the tool box I was working out of (I have more than one) and pull out all the C Locks in the drawer of that box, and take a pict.,Most Channel Lock stuff I have is pretty good. Until recently Walmart still carried a few made in the USA Channel Lock items. I noticed not long ago these have been replaced by some off brand Chinese brand.
I need those cutters
Just be careful/observant of the 'type' that you buy... they look the same but one will specifically say that it's for fencing wire and/or the gauge of wire.
That's the one that I have (fencing). I almost bought the 'other' type but spotted the difference on the packaging.
What does everyone think of Channel Lock? I have some good tools from them, too. Made in Meadville PA, USA![]()
