Who needs steering brakes?

Looks like a neat idea and can be used for front weight, just add fluid.

YouTube - Turner Steering device on Fendt German Tractor

At first I thought it DEPENDED on steering brakes, i.e. was just a caster wheel.
I think I see hoses, so it is almost certainly driven with a hydraulic motor.

Neat and given that there is a flip over plow on there, they probably have use for tight turn arounds.

To think somebody thought they needed that. :)

CEO: "Our tractors aren't expensive enough. We need a gimmick to jack up the price."
R&D: "How about a fifth wheel for sharp turns?"
Lowly Assistant: "Don't the tractors already have steering brakes?"
CEO: "You're fired."
Engineering: "We'll add some extra linkages and hydraulics to jack up the parts count."
Marketing: "Let's market a whole line of spinning implements you can't go without!"
CEO: "Brilliant!"
