White Christmas!

Last year we got a record 12 inches but it was in late January. We never seem to get a White Christmas here in Alabama. 67 outside right now.

The forecast for here is 68 degrees on Christmas with 100% chance of thunderstorms. I'll take the warmer weather anytime and since there will be so much precipitation, I'd much rather have it as rain than snow, no shoveling and less of a heating bill!

And more skeeters and black flies in summertime. I would rather have lots of snow and AFTER the good ground cover of snow let the temps dip down to a frosty -40F for a week or so.
My heating bill is the same every winter, 6.5 bush cords of hardwood firewood.

Too warm here for that...but like they say, if you don't like the weather in Oklahoma, just wait a little bit. I just bought two ricks for those chilly evenings with NCIS, Sharn Jean and a six pack of Keystone Lite!
