Snowblower Which snow blower

Guess l'll be looking for a blade as im not putting a 3 point on the rear.

Do you need a snow blower? I checked a couple of weather sites that indicated Norfolk, VA averages 5" to 8" snow per year. While a greater amount is possible in a singe storm, such a storm may be less frequent than once a decade. With a blade you may need the 3 point hitch to carry a counterweight.

Mid pto is listed as an option on tractordata.com

Likely mid pto can be added but not cheap.

Most efficient way to get power to a front mounted blower.

How deep are your pockets? Erskine makes a rear pto powered front blower. Pricey though. I did a fel mount blower, powered by the rear pto, lots of work, still working out the bugs. I'll be 70 in May, loving the forward action. Still have a rear blade to drag from garage doors.

Dave, my manual shows a mid for this model is not an option. Also maybe l better update my address as l retired last yr and moved from Norfolk Va to central Mo. lol
I love a front mount but at 6.7gpm idk. Funny thing is l see pics of SMALL masseys with front snow blowers. What gives...

I usually just leave the box blade on. It's over 700lbs...

I'm in my seventh decade and the NH T1030 with rear blower & FEL has proven ideal. The open seat can be a little chilly but the machine just cleaned up a 30+ inch snowfall in hours.

They are all mid mount 2 stage snow blowers.

You could purchase the P680 snow blower and mount the entire snow blower
on your loader with a SSQA plate using a ROTAX 23 horsepower go cart engine
to power it and have enough torque to clear snow.

Have you considered a Rear Pull Snowblower? Much less looking back. I love mine.

If drifting isn't a problem, that pull type would be great, in addition to a front blade. Two passes with the blade to bring the snow to the middle, final pass with the tractor straddling the snow, blow with a smile on, looking forward.
