Where is the lever that...

controls the speed that the 3pt. hitch drops on my 1500? I can't seem to find it. I know it's supposed to be under the seat, but where?

I don't know about 1500. On my 3110 it is on the left side under the seat . Mine was was hard for me to locate . It was painted green.

Mine is a 1401 but yours may be the same.
Sitting on the tractor look on the right side below the seat. next to the three point lift lever there is a screw with what looks like a cotter pin through it. I think it has a spring for tension .Its actually on the side of the case on the right next to the fender.

It's under the seat, on the control valve.
