There was plenty of lumber there. Except 2x6x8. Maybe that was an issue with Covid. Maybe it was an oversight or a contractor had bought it all.

But the quality of what was there was the worst I致e ever seen and it has been bad for years. I literally could not find one, much less 3 boards that were marginally okay out of a whole new stack.

I値l check at the local lumber yard next week. If their stock looks that bad I知 going to finally get a sawmill. ;-)

You can make your own PT lumber with your own sawmill?
I can't imagine how you could do that!

That didn't work for me... I have spent a lot of money lately at HD and Lowe's on 'honeydo' projects since COVID hit.

My cull rate at Lowes when selecting lumber has been above 50%. A lot of bad lumber. I have also noticed that they are getting lumber from Sweden. And Swedens #2 grade is a #3 here. Terrible wood.

Ace hardware gets my business. They have a good selection of odd stuff also.

I long ago start turning autocorrect off every time I change phones. I turn off predictive text also. Only item in that mess left in that mess is spell checker and it is hit and miss. However I hit lots of next to keys on my phone (fat fingers).
