when do you toss a cylinder?

If you have room for larger diameter cyl, you can do it, and you will have more power, but the cycle time will be slower.

Here I am expecting to hear it needs a new part shipped from Osaka, and it's only a loose connector, which was impossible to see/test without taking off the covers, which I lazily had not done.
So, while I fully expected to be told I had abused the grapple beyond reason, it was just a loose hydraulic line connector. Now did I snag that line with something? I have no idea but I can't see any damage
on it. I guess like tightening up a new chainsaw chain, one really does have to go over the machine carefully after it has some hours on it. I wonder how many different size bolts/nuts are on my Kubota?...
Of course the loose connector was not on the tractor, but the implement.

So, no cylinders were tossed for this post. Good thing. Restores my faith in the implement because if the cylinder had failed, then it was truly a weak link in their system. But it wasn't, which of course is good.
I'll have to try a little harder to break it I guess.

Daugen, just so you know for any future cases, tie rod cylinders are not as strong as a welded cylinder, take up a lot more space and they do not take as much pressure as a welded cylinder will. What is good about them is that they are easier to modify the stroke on if that is something that is needed to be done.
