Quesadilla Burger - Applebees

That is a good burger. sadly they took it off the local menu but maybe it's a temporary thing as it's on the national menu.

You all are making me hungry. I love many different sandwiches, especially hot/melted type. Just can't do Rye bread.

Firehouse Subs... small chain. Great sandwiches dine in or to go. Personally, I like the 'Engineer'. Don't know if they are just out west but I like the fact that you round up your bill to the dollar and all of the proceeds go to the local firefighters for lifesaving equipment, etc.

No I suppose not. I have had food poisoning a few times in Asia and it is NOT funny.

Eaten there a dozen times... no issues. Like I implied, maybe it was just the establishment and a fluke where you visited?

Multigrain roll with a good bitey cheddar, sliced beetroot and red onion, heavy grinding of black pepper and a little salt, heaven....

I've been becoming partial to a good BLT&A lately. My tomatoes are about to start ripening at home. Nothing like a good fresh garden tomato on any sandwich.

But gotta be Beefeater tomato to win!

Long time since I've had a good Ruben as well.

Like others, never met a samich I didn't like......although some of the suggestions here may challenge that notion!

If'n I had to pick just one, gotta go with a midwestern silage feed beef chuck hamburger off charcoal, with a quality bun, homegrown tomato slice, lettuce, & pickle. And a side of Ohio sweet corn to seal the deal.

No, it's not funny! Never been to Asia, but I have learned never to eat:

BBQ at a non-BBQ restaurant
Oysters on the half shell...especially at a land locked restaurant
Mexican food at a restaurant where they don't speak English
