There are people that trade up. Then there are folk who hold. It really does matter how you rig has performed.
I am a QA/QC engineer. A rancher. Some rigs suck, some not. Consistency is a big average but if yours works then KEEP IT and then GO, MAN, GO. And run the wheels off it because you may never get another like it. Then fix it, regardless. The other option is a money pit.
I wish I had my old '96 Dodge 12valve 1t dually - less the transmission. Can't break it. But the transmission, even new, was insufficient on a hill. I could slip overdrive at will. What a waste.
