Okay I have a Shibura sd1840 at all four wheel hubs there are what appears to be a fill cap and a drain plug. What are these things, what goes in there. I haven't checked them since I've had the tractor.

There are large bearings in there and you want to put oil in.

How long have you had this unit? Did you travel at top speeds? Sounds like your hubs are oil bathed and the oil levels should be checked. Have you noticed any leaks? If not you should be okay. If you have any leaks the bearing could be running dry....
