Took a customer on a deep sea fishing gig. First time fishing in the ocean (in NC) in my life. We got back about 0100, and the captain cut some of the fish right there on the dock to eat. I was like "seriously, raw fish???". Been hooked since LOL
Per the pic, trying two different methods to see which one I like best.
I was never big on raw or slightly cooked fish until a few years ago, when I started eating sushi at our kids' Dojo celebrations. It was really good. I think it's the combination with the sticky rice. Anyhow, I like it a lot now. I probably eat it once a month.
Wife made up some kind of dry rub for salmon a couple days ago. You rub it on the salmon then coat it with a thin layer of mayo then grill it on an oiled grill. It was tasty with fresh green beans and rice pilaf.
Roasted pork tenderloin rubbed with Dijon mustard, paprika, salt and pepper. Yukon gold potatoes, red onions, broccoli, sweet bell peppers, and roasted garlic in the pouch. The garlic was then put in a food processor with some smoked red peppers and sour cream to make a sauce.
